Felderhoff is a major USA drilling contractor since 1950. Through providing mud pumps to Felderhoff, TSC has successfully entered the U.S.’s unconventional shale market, signifying an important milestone for TSC products and services. The 4 WorkForce? 2200 mud pumps which will be serving on their first pair of two 2000hp AC land rigs contracted to drill shale oil/gas in the Woodford Basin of Oklahoma USA in 2Q2015 to depths in excess of 20,000ft. In the last decade, TSC has manufactured and supplied to the North America market a wide range of pumps from its WorkForce? 400 for workover applications all the way up to WorkForce? 2200 for offshore jack-up and semisubmersible rig application. The WorkForce? 2200 was initially designed for offshore rig application. This will be the first time for TSC WorkForce? 2200 to be used for deep and long reach horizontal wells for unconventional plays. It has proven again TSC’s capabilities of providing first-class and fit-for purpose products.
